Public spaces, when designed well, make a great destination, draw the community together, generate pedestrian traffic and activity, and, let's be honest, make for some excellent people watching.
Project for Public Space (PPS) is honoring the world's best places and is currently taking nominations for Great Public Spaces. PPS is not just giving out awards, they are "sparking a conversation" on what makes a public space great.
Do you have a favorite public space in mind that deserves notice? Simply follow
